Branches

At the moment Tanadgoma, along with the head office in Tbilisi, has 4 branches in regions –  4 information/counseling centers in Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Telavi. 

Tanadgoma   Batumi   branch  

Date of establishment: opened on July 31st, 2003, under the USAID/Save the Children funded “STI/HIV Prevention Project in Georgia (SHIP Project)” 

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age, key populations (Sex Workers, People who Use Drugs, Men who have Sex with Men, their partners and clients), sailors, victims of trafficking, youth, IDPsmigrants.  

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to key populations, outdoor activities (seminars, workshops, training) for general population and other groups, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), distribution of informational materials and condoms/lubricants among target groups, screening on HIV, Hepatitis B and C and some STIs through the mobile laboratory, participating in qualitative and quantitative researches 

 

Tanadgoma   Zugdidi   branch 

Date of establishment: opened on 6th of August, 2005, under the Global Fund supported project “Supporting High Risk Behavior Groups” (preventing STIs and HIV/AIDS in High Risk Behavior Groups). 

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age; Female Sex Workers, their partners and clientsIDPs, women affected by breast and cervical cancer. 

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to key populations, outdoor activities (seminars, workshopstraining) for general population, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet)distribution of informational materials and condoms/lubricants among target groups 

 

Tanadgoma   Kutaisi   branch 

Date of establishment: opened on 30 March 2006, under the USAID/Save the Children funded project “STI/HIV Prevention Project in Georgia (SHIP Project)” 

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age, key populations (Sex Workers, People who Use Drugs, Men who have Sex with Men, prison inmates, probationers, their partners and clients), youth, IDPs 

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to key populations, outdoor activities (seminars, workshopstraining) for general population and other groups, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), distribution of informational materials and condoms/lubricants among target groups, screening on HIV, Hepatitis B and C and some STIs through the mobile laboratory, participating in qualitative and quantitative researches 

 

 Tanadgoma  Telavi   branch 

Date of establishment: opened on 1st of February 2012, under the Global Fund supported project. 

Target groups:Key populations (Female Sex Workers, Men who have Sex with Men and their partners and clients). 

Services: Face to Face counseling, outreach to key populations, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), distribution of informational materials and condoms/lubricants among target groups.
