Branches

At the moment Tanadgoma along with Tbilisi head office has 4 Branches in regions –  4 information/counseling centers in Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Telavi.

 

Tanadgoma Batumi branch

Date of establishment: opened on July 31st, 2003, under the USAID/Save the Children funded “STI/HIV Prevention Project in Georgia (SHIP Project)”

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age, high risk behavior groups (Female Sex Workers, Injecting Drug Users, Men who have Sex with Men, their partners and clients), sailors, victims of trafficking, youth, IDPs

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to high risk behavior groups, outdoor activities (seminars, workshops) for general population and other groups, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), screening on HIV, Hepatitis B and C and some STIs through the mobile laboratory, participating in qualitative and quantitative researches

 

 

Tanadgoma Zugdidi branch

Date of establishment: opened on 6th of August, 2005, under the Global Fund supported project “Supporting High Risk Behavior Groups” (preventing STIs and HIV/AIDS in High Risk Behavior Groups), IDPs, women affected with breast and cervical cancer

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age, Female Sex Workers, their partners and clients

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to high risk behavior groups, outdoor activities (seminars, workshops) for general population, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet)

 

 

Tanadgoma Kutaisi branch

Date of establishment: opened on 30 March 2006, under the USAID/Save the Children funded project “STI/HIV Prevention Project in Georgia (SHIP Project)”

Target Groups: General population of reproductive age, high risk behavior groups (Female Sex Workers, Injecting Drug Users, Men who have Sex with Men, prison inmates, their partners and clients), youth, IDPs

Services: Counseling through hot line and face to face visits, outreach to high risk behavior groups, outdoor activities (seminars, workshops) for general population and other groups, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), screening on HIV, Hepatitis B and C and some STIs through the mobile laboratory, participating in qualitative and quantitative researches

 

 

Tanadgoma Telavi branch

Date of establishment: opened on 1st of February 2012, under the Global Fund supported project””

Target groups: High risk behavior groups (Men who have Sex with Men, female Sex Workers and their partners).

Services: Face to Face counseling, outreach to high risk behavior groups, referral to appropriate medical facilities (especially to the Healthy Cabinet), distribution of IEC and condoms among target groups.
