Our History

The full legal name of organization is “Center for Information and Counseling on Reproductive Health Tanadgoma”. Association Tanadgoma is a non-profit organization that performs its activities according to Georgian Constitution, Georgian Civil Code and own Statute (article 1.2. of the Statute, new edition (2011)).

Tanadgoma was created on the basis of MSF Center – informational-counseling center established by international humanitarian organization “Medecins Sans Frontieres” (MSF) Greece. Before completing its mission MSF Greece accepted a suggestion from the local staff to turn MSF Center into a Georgian Non-Governmental Organization named ‘Tanadgoma’ (Support), which aimed to maintain sustainability of on-going projects, carry on and broaden activities of MSF Center. On the 16th of October 2000 Tanadgoma was registered as an association (hereinafter ‘Association’).
